Marty K. Casey is being awarded the Arts Advocate of the Year award at the Martin Mathews Awards & Benefit Concert on August 27th. She’s had notable success as a singer, actress, writer, producer and director while performing all over the United States, Germany and France. Casey has partnered with Mathews-Dickey to create arts oriented courses that expose individuals to the many styles of arts in order to teach youth self-discipline, increased confidence, integrity and a life-long appreciation for the arts. Casey established the 2016 ‘Spreading The Love Youth Tour’ that entertained cities all over the United States, including D.C. to visit the U.S. Capitol!

Her experiences and desire to give back led her to found Casey Entertainment and more recently, ShowMe Arts Academy. Started as a response to the unrest of Ferguson, Show Me Arts Academy’s mission is to provide multi-cultural artistic development to under-served youth, ages 5-18, under the guidance of trained professionals. Show Me Arts Academy’s mission is to provide multi-cultural artistic development, to under-served youth, ages 5-18, under the guidance of trained professionals. Casey is pioneering a generation of youth to be the best versions of themselves through artistic outlets and self-expression. She is showing these youth the importance in standing out and being who they are in preparation for their futures.
