Graduating senior? Apply now for scholarship!
Career & Professional Development Event Connects Youth to Mentorship & College Dollars
This annual transformational event takes place on Friday, April 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Louis Airport Marriott Hotel, 10700 Pear Tree Dr., St. Louis, MO 63134.
Local data as well as national studies cite that young men – especially African-American young men – are falling behind in school and thus getting left behind in the workforce.
The Maleness to Manhood event will feature with male mentors, breakout sessions, tailored workshops, along with college scholarships. Maleness to Manhood 2017 attendees heard a heartfelt speech from professional boxer Josh Temple as the 2017 keynote speaker. The proud alumnus of the Mathews-Dickey Boys’ & Girls’ Club and a 2014 Team USA champion who is now 2-0 as a Pro Boxer shared with the youth what “manhood” means to him.
Keynote speaker for 2018 is TBA. Register now and stay tuned!
