Will pursue collegiate career in sports medicine


Riana McDonald is the Outstanding Youth Achiever and will accept her award on stage at the Martin L. Mathews Awards Program & Benefit Concert during Mathews-Dickey’s Family Reunion Weekend. The rising senior at Cardinal Ritter College Prep maintains a 3.8 GPA. Riana is a dual member of Mathews-Dickey and Girls Inc., who are partners on the Healthy Babies, Children & Families infant mortality reduction grant. For the past two years McDonald has been an active participant in the Youth Ambassador and summer programs. She also is a correspondent for MDTV, the new Mathews-Dickey TV show.

McDonald first started volunteering at Mathews-Dickey through the Girls Incorporated program, that she has been a part of since the age of six. She has volunteered for St. Louis Dream Center, Girls Inc., and Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory. McDonald is determined to begin her collegiate career in sports medicine.
